Nov
26 2012: Islamabad; Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and
Technology (SZABIST) Islamabad campus and ARK, a private consultative company
have jointly launched an academic program consisting of a series of diplomas.
The
main objective of this collaborative educational program is to equip students
as well as a common man with professional techniques and expertise essential
for job and business.
The
program has been launched in view of the difficulties of the people who are
unemployed despite having academic degrees.
Under
the program participants would be trained about
different professional techniques and methodologies in
various subjects including Project Management, Strategic Management, Contract
Management and Human Resources Management so that they could perform
their duties in their respective business and job effectively
after learning these methods.
It
will take the participants three months to complete one
diploma where as the criteria to apply for any diploma program is
fourteen years of academic education. Admissions for diplomas would be
starting from next month in Islamabad campus and the registration forms to
apply are available on SZABIST’s website.
Director
SZABIST Islamabad campus Syed Asad Hussain and CEO ARK Consulting Group Khusro
P.Malik signed the collaborative agreement with regards to the program in
Islamabad.
Experts belonging to
different departments including Social Sciences and Management Sciences would
teach professional techniques and expertise to the participants at SZABIST.
Experts
believe that youngsters in Pakistan are not successful in getting employment
despite having degrees, because of lacking professional expertise and no job
experience. Therefore people willing to find bright careers must learn
professional methodologies in addition to the degrees so that they could get
better job and business opportunities.
